well benchmade's qc is questionable, thats no secret. they do however counter that with great products and better customer service. as you can see from the pics, i'm not shy about benchmades. 3 bm's and a lonewolf, a company that recently was bought by benchmade.

just sayin. kinda disappointed, but not unexpected
 
That is horrible for a 200.00 knife.when i got mine,it was centered,but i hated it so i sent it back for a refund.it just didnt do anything for me...
 
i like mine. i'm actually afraid to send it in for fear of it losing the bank vault feel or the impressive edge haha
 
Revdevil, I'm not going to recommend anything. There are too many opposing views here for me to do that. I will say that I purchased 8 new Benchmade knives and 15 new Kershaws in the last 8 months. 2 of the 8 Benchmades needed to go back. I'm not including things like offcentered blades etc. but things I couldn't fix or repair myself. Of the 15 Kershaws I bought, 0 had to go back. What I am going to do about this is buy elsewhere. There are just too many other good brands out there. I feel like I'm rolling the dice on whether I'll get a good one or not from Benchmade. Before I finish I need to say that I like, carry and own a number of Benchmade knives. I will continue to use the ones I have. As a consumer I have lost confidence in their quality control.
 
i have no faith in Benchmade's quality control. i'm honestly not surprised

love the knife though, carried it today. used it good too. m390 gets an A+ for day one. good stuff. and the knife is just awesome.
