Letting everyone know that the New K03 kits have arrived here in the US. TSProf’s philosophy of continuous improvement has resulted in the New K03 series. More torsional rigidity is ensured by the profile adjustment rod's rectangular cross section with double dovetails. See the picture below and visit www.statesllc.com

What is "rectangular cross section with double dovetails"? They certainly have improved the machining of their parts!

I corrected the text of my post. I should have said "the profile adjustment rod's rectangular cross section".

D Diemaker I'm not trying to start anything with you or give you a hard time, but you say they have improved the machining of their part's.

I have a K02 and a older version of the K03 and I have all of their clamp's and everything for the system and I have never had any problems with their machining at all with anything that Tsprof makes.
I found that in a lot of video's that I have seen on youtube and this forum that's one of the first thing's people mention a lot of the time.

Please don't take me asking you this as me trying to start something or that I'm trying to be a loyal TsProf fanboy and sticking up for them just surprised that you think their machining has improved.

I assume the "profile adjustment rod" is the coarse pivot height/angle adjuster?

When TSProf first came out the machined parts were all made on manual equipment and looked pretty rough. Then they got a cnc mill about the same time they started making the geared height adjusters, which looked much nicer than anything else on the sharpener. Now, most of the parts in the above photo are obviously made on a cnc mill. Of course, I am only talking about cosmetics.
