I managed to finish this little guy up between working on all of the sheaths from last week's sales, was planning on posting earlier, but didn't get a chance until I was done for the day. This is one of the last pieces I'll be posting for a little while, until I get more HT done.
This is my EDC pattern with a trailing point blade, dressed in tactical garb (which also works well as camo if you wanted to call it a hunter/skinner). TTP=Tactical Trailing Point.
This is a super useful and versatile design. I hollow ground the blade to slice well, but took care to minimize weakness at the tip. This one is done at 61rc, so should hold an edge very well.
The hand cut jimping is very grippy but has been slightly softened to keep things nice and comfy. This EDC pattern is meant for maximum blade in minimum footprint, with a full 4 finger grip.
Includes heavy duty custom molded and hand stitched leather sheath, pictured.
Specs:
CTS-XHP @ 61, .159" thick
3.25" edge length, 7.625" OAL
Black g10 w/Black & Olive g10 bolsters
416ss pins and tube
4.8oz
I'd like to get $170 shipped for this one.
