Hi! Just to share my thoughts and contribute with my own perspective on this, as a relatively new member here and as one using English as non-native language. Maybe it’s useful as an example about how things can be perceived/understood differently from different People in different places

.
I found Zombie411 post, in that specific context, offensive for the OP. I read this as if he was somehow questioning the correctness of the draw, insinuating the doubt that the winner might have been chosen not entirely in a random way, rather hand-picked for some reason. On the top of this, the post is clearly carrying a not so veiled political message and these, according to the rules we all have accepted by subscribing here, should be confined to the political arena sub-forum. Therefore I think the warning/infraction in this case was legit.
About RevDevil post in W&C, reported here, I have a bit of mixed feelings. As a premise: I don’t go often in W&C and I think I have never posted anything there, for different reasons. One is my knowledge of English. Many times, I don’t understand what’s written there without the continuous help of Urban Dictionary, etc.

another one is, many times, I don’t understand the humor. I mean, I read (with difficulties) the things but I can’t grasp what is really funny about those

. Then I would feel a bit uncomfortable and it’s not my “style” to go “insulting” randomly strangers on the web. But anyway, the overall feeling I get from W&C it’s the same of my swim team lockers room in high school or the barracks’ toilets when I was in the Army

. I mean, it was great fun, etc. but, maybe, growing older, my tastes about what’s funny has changed. The thing is, when we were going a bit too much over the top and e.g. started to measure the lengths of respective dicks and making fun of the bigger and the smaller

, the Coach/Sergeant was normally putting this to an end in a rather sharp way, not taking his own out and joining the party. That’s why I have a bit of mixed feelings.
Anyway, incident closed and another good learning for me about netiquette here! Thanks
