Switch:

Up for sale or trade now. Price is $2250.

On the hunt for Carey Tremors or Caymans, Burch large platypus or Tangents, Marsh Large Vanquish, Nalu Capitalist XL only at this time.

Knife features: 3.25" blade with bead blasted grind and hand polished flats. Overall length is 8". Harpoon shaped blade that has one of the best flipping actions I have experienced - it rockets open, fires hard, and locks up tight.

Condition: I would rate this knife at 98% condition. There are no problems and it functions perfectly. The blade is precisely centered when closed. When open, the blade has zero play in any direction. Lock-up on this frame lock occurs at about 20%. The blade is in 100% condition and is super sharp. The front scale is made from a beautiful Timascus as is the pocket clip, both are contoured, and back spacer. The lock side is orange peel finished titanium - the best done I have seen that gives it a great texture and translucent appearance in light. The custom pivot has a annodized collar around it. The knife has been carried so there are a very few truly micro blemishes and they are extremely difficult to notice, cannot be photographed, and do not detract from the knife in anyway but I wanted to provide a truthful description. The detente sucks the blade into the closed position perfectly but on rare occasions it has what seems to be a double click. I cannot explain what it is and it does not affect the knife in anyway negatively it is just there and has never been a bother I have the makers email address if you want to communicate but it is really a non issue but again wanted to be up front. The price is reflective of the not perfectly knew condition.

STRIFE:

$2500.

Blade is in 100% condition. S35VN with bead blast finish. Super sharp and perfect centering.

Function is flawless and lock up is about 20-25%.

I have carried this a few times and on the bead blasted finish on the scales there are some very small blemishes that do not cause a problem or detract from the knife.

Can you describe the detent of the Tuffknives Switch in terms of flipping? I have several of Geoff's knives and some are effortless to deploy, one or two have a very hard detent that takes a lot of pressure to break.

You can email me at toddowyoung@gmail.com, thanks very much!
