Does anyone have instructions for tumbling deer antler? I like the looks of the tumbled antler but have no idea what type of grit to use. Should it be wet or dry? I have a small rock tumbler. Any advise would be appreciated.

This is a new thing to me. Do you have any photos or other info on "Tumbling" antler.

Just off the top of my head, it seems like it would ruin antler to tumble it.

Its used as a form of polishing for beads and buttons in crafts. Not a high polish, but kind of a lightly sanded look. I have no recommendation for grits and such, but just thinking logically, I would start with walnut media and work backwards to more coarse/heavier media until desired finish is achieved.
