what is the service life of the bronze washers, and detent -ball on linerlock ? my washers move slightly when opening and closing, and my detent ball has a flat spot ( is flat spot normal what is detent made of I figured it would be harder than the blade)?

They don't make a ball as hard as the blade.

The life of your tune up parts is dependent on quite a bit of variables.

Sounds like yours are due.
