Tungsten Karambit

I love the looks of the older "claw", but if there is any usage requiring resharpening, the newer one will give a longer life - the older one starts getting "shorter" as soon as you sharpen it.
 
I have the "claw" tip and do not sharpen the last 2 mm of the blade. Eventually I suppose the curve will become more pronounced but that wouldn't be much of a problem for me. Karambits or hawkbill blades work very well for garden, nursery or florist usage, which is where I use it (yes I know, overkill, but Emerson ergonomics and durability is just too awesome).

Nonsense, not overkill at all. They make a mean letter opener too. ;)
 
^^ I agree. It is not overkill. Someone correct me if I am wrong but I believe karambits were originally used for farming.
