Dan,
What size tip on the O/A? I have a rosebud.....

your A/O and mine is probably different
just get the largest heater tip you can get for yours. OR

most of the time I'll use the cutting set up
and back the oxygen off just a little from cutting mode.

if you can cut 1/2" or so steel with yours you should have enough heat,
it takes practice for those longer blades or I should say more practice..
you can use your bricks too to help distribute the heat more.

Thats what I will tr first. I'm not sure how thick mine cuts but I'll back the Oxygen down and try it.....
