Just finished this one!


OAL- 7 1/2"
blade- 3 1/4" long, .140" thick, 3/4" wide at the guard
steel- Aldo's high carbon 1095, with in-house differential heat treatment
grind- a full convex grind, with distal taper
finish-etched 600 grit finish
handle-purpleheart, white micarta spacer, tru-oil finish
guard- 1/4" brass and 1/8" brass pin
sheath- 10oz leather, hand stitched, hand tooled, hot-waxed, with cam, for "snap fit", 3 copper rivets for belt loop
blade fully tested for edge retention and tip strenth before finishing

Another nice small skinner
I like the more pointed nose on this one. this is really about all the knife anyone would need for medium to small game skinning or daily chores, Nice job Joe.
 
I agree Mr. "bonny". I have 2 of them. Natural in hand, cannot resist using it so sometimes i have to find somethings to cut.
