Turkish Sword (Kilij)

Cok guzel! :)

Very nice traditional form. Did you engrave the text as well? It looks good.

Teşekkürler Esav ( Thanks Esav) :)
Text is no engrave, I make etch ( %30 nitric acid).

Yowza!
What does the engraving say?
Will it cut falling silk? ;)

Thanks to all comment. This text, characteristic of traditional Turkish Sword, to mean "Of course, we've promised victory to you"

hi
very nice kilij
i like the blade shape and yelman
the hilt is very cool and i like the forged ends
- its alway a challenge to quench curved sabers during heat treatment ... with luck it turns out straight

excellent work

Hi, This is a really stunning sword. Everything just seems to work. Do you make swords commercially? If so do you have a website.

First of all I'm sorry to reply your message late. I couldn't 'cause I was in holiday. I hadn't do this job commercially yet, but I'm thinking to do it 2 years later. I don't have a personal website, but I run a webforum: " www.bicaksanati.com ".
Thanks for all your interests. Regards.
Sefa.
