Turkish Sword (Kilij)

this is really beautiful sword. I really love it. perfect curve, slim blood groove, ebony handle matches the cool blade. Is the guard silver?

that is a beautiful sword! you are very talented. It is inspiring to see people today make such things. Too many things are disposable plastic. The work and value of what you have made go far beyond something silly like money. thank you for showing us. If you have any pictures or a description of how the guard was made, I would appreciate it. I have been making dao blades, and I want to branch out into the less curved forms of Turkish Sabres. As you know, they are likely the ancestor of the dao, anyway. I would be grateful for anything you can provide regarding how to make the guard and handle.

outstanding work.

The guard is not silver. It's just iron.

Thanks for all your comments. I don't have any documents about crafting the sword, but I can give you the measures and detail works of it.
