Hello everybody!

Back to filigree again. Just finished.

Blade: Turkish twist damascus from the Zladinox company (Russia, zladinox.ru)
Dimensions: 8 3/4" x 1" x 3/16"
Overall length: 14"

Handle:
Mammoth ivory
Sterling silver
Garnets

Stand:
Black marble
Sterling silver
Garnets

Vladimir, beautiful work. As an "art" knife I'm warming to your work more and more. That butt cap and stand is simply awesome.
 
Just got the piece at the door a few hours ago and have been admiring it since. Another great work of art by Vlad. A dagger will be arriving likely in a week or so. They will be displayed together with another piece I purchased last year. His knifemaking and photography skills are equally resplendent. We really enjoy having Vlad's knives as part of the collection as art knives make up most of the type of knives we enjoy.

that is one great knife. What sort of tool did you use to do the beading on the wire (beading knife?).
really excellent composition and form. I like it a lot.
