I know Doug already has positive feedback on this forum, but I wanted to add my $.02 because an unusual situation came up that you don't see everyday.
Long story short, I purchased a knife from Doug on here. Sent him a check and patiently waited for my package to arrive. Package arrives and it's not what it was supposed to be. Emailed Doug regarding my surprise and he jumped on it right away. Turns out he accidently sent my knife to someone else and their knives to me. In the end, the other person and I sent each other our respective packages and all is well.
Doug, out of a desire to make this thing right, paid my shipping (which was NOT cheap) and (I presume) the other guy's as well. I did not ask -- he offered. What's more, in looking at my "used" knife, all I can say is that if he hadn't said anything, I would have thought it new. In other words, Doug went to great lengths in his description to make sure that the buyer knew exactly what he was getting. I still can't see what dang scratch he was talking about, but hey, I'm not complaining.
So if anybody ever has any concern about doing business with TurnerIII, whether it's a concern that the price is too high, knife is not as described, whatever, you can lay your fear to rest. I don't say it lightly and I don't mean to be crude, but I'll bet my left nut that Doug will do you right. Thanks for a great transaction!!!
