Hi everyone,

Does anyone have a good source for some turquoise stone? I have a customer who wants some of it inlay-ed in a handle, but I can't find a reliable source. I don't need a whole lot, and I'm also not looking for reconstituted stone.

Thanks!
Ted

Ted---d0 you need turquoise 'rough' or finished stones? Do you want the turquoise stabilized (not reconstituted)? What size do you need? I may be able to help. ...Teddy

Check the local pet stores. They have a lot of decorative rock for fish tanks etc.

Real turquoise with any quality is getting scarce I have a piece that I might be able to slice off what you need. What size are you going to need?

I picked up some from a bead store and broke up a few beads to fill up a void that showed up during sanding in the handle. Picked up some coral too. a little brass dust looks like gold, put in first tho. Super glue it in.

Hi teddy,

I need rough turquoise (i'll have to cut and shape it into triangles). I need about 8 small pieces that are 1/2" by 1/2" by 1/4" roughly. Or a few larger pieces that i can cut and shape the same smaller pieces out of.

Thanks!
Ted
