hello everyone,

I was looking at tutorials the other day, maybe 4 days ago. They were all for the really, really, beginners. This particular tutorial was suggesting that, and I agree, one use a kit, a very basic kit first. But, however, this tutorial was about re- purposing old knives, specifically using old paring knives, and a few other old knives that one might buy in a flea market, thrift shop or the like. I did not save the page because my browser crashed and now I cant find this tutorial. I have googled every which way with every word combination, and i found several of the others because it brought me to this forum and some of you wrote these other tutorials. But, that particular one about the old paring knife I cant locate.
Can any of you help? do you know of the tutorial, did one of you write it. I just want something inexpensive to do, where I might have most everything here at home in my apartment. I would appreciate any help that all of you may give

Try North Coast Knives. Pat has an extensive tutorial section and he does a tutorial on the Darrel Ralph DDR3 liner lock sold by Knifekits.com and Texas Knifemakers.

DDR3 Tutorial

There are tutorials on all kinds of things, so while I'm not sure it was the site you looking for, perhaps it will help you out.

Oh yeah, Welcome to Bladeforums!
