I received a call from Travis this afternoon; my TW-90 will ship out next week! :D

I'm really looking forward to trying it out, as I have wanted one since it first came out.

The surface grinding/tapering attachment is really tempting, but I might have to hold off on that for a while.

I placed the order around the 20th, and Travis estimated a 4 - 6 week wait. I must have ordered at just the right time because he's way ahead of schedule.

Congrats! Travis is a awesome guy to deal with. I received mine three weeks ago and the SG on Monday. You are going to love it.

When you next speak to Travis, ask him about doubler plates.:D

You won't be sorry. I'm going to look at the SGA at Blade and perhaps order one there.

Thanks guys! It will be great to have a horizontal grinder now.

Doubling plates? Haven't heard of those; what are they for?

The TW90 is a fine machine. The horizontal feature is very nice as is the surface grinder attachment. It has been very useful for me. Plus it's very well thought out as far as maintenance. all the bolts and handles can probably be found at your local hardware store.

The doubling plates are for the TW.
Travis uses the same magnets found on the SG to add additional work surfaces to the standard ones. It's hard to explain but I've seen so many people, myself included, trying to figure a way to make additional work rests for different tasks.
By using these very strong magnets you can do almost anything with just a little imagination.

uhmmmm..... Would be great if there was a really nice, versatile rest system for the kmg. Nathan?

please post photos of the rest when you are ready to go. thanks
