My tweeners showed up yesterday, one of each. I did'nt have the heart to start stripping the finish off of them so instead I made some wood scales. These are made from Ipe, a tropical hardwood. Think I'll make some with liners and maybe from Bocote or Bloodwood too. These didnt turn out too bad. I think i got the hang of it.

That is one of the nicest sets of wood grips I have seen for any of the smaller Beckers. Very nicely done.

Damn, those look sweet. Would look better on a stripped blade, but still, very nice work. ;)

I really want a pair of wood ones like that for my 15 when I get it, those would look amazing on a Cliched and Fisked 15 ..lol

Two things that add a touch of class to almost any knife; nice wood scales and a leather sheath to ride in!

Good job on those scales! That Ipe is sure lookin' purty!

as i've said before, wood is good :>

very pretty! You really matched the factory shape well! I may have to dabble in some woodcarving for one of my Beckers.

what I really need to do is find a place to order some stag scale blanks! ;) was thinking the 16 would look mighty fine in stag!
