Tweeners (more photos)

Switchblade, nice pics! It appears from the middle pic that the BK15 is about an inch longer than that of BK17, or is it a misperception?

The BK-15 is the longest of the trio with a 5.5" long blade.

The BK-16 and BK-17 have 4.75" long blades.

Those are great looking photos, congrats again. My favorite picture is the 3rd one. Looks like it's from a magazine or something.

Thanks!

Grats on the purchase, and on supporting your local business. I am a bit frustrated with my local knife store ATM, I promised them that if they picked up the new tweeners to sell in their store they are guaranteed to get a purchase from me buying 1 or 2 BK-16s. According to them, they 'placed their order and are waiting for it'. I think they might actually be slacking because if they had placed the order near when they were released they would have HAD them in store, I'd think. Gonna keep giving them the benefit of the doubt and hold onto hope that they get them in stock before my camping trip in a couple weeks, otherwise I will be doing my hiking with my 14 or my 2 (not that there's anything wrong with that).

My local store took a long time as well. Don't worry they're coming your way. :)

Good observation, that's correct. Blade length is like Wolfe wrote above. Well, almost... I got 4 and 3/8 of an inch on the BK-16 and BK-17.

A few more pictures I took today. Unfortunately I don't have my Beckerhead patch to go with the pictures...

If I do get another tweener, it'll be the 15. That is significantly longer. And I have nothing else like it.

Great pics, thanks for those. The BK16 is an outstanding design. Love it.
