Tweeners to come?

He can use the Pixel Shine™ after he scrapes the drool off with his new Machax. This place would be spotless then.

i think while i'm waiting for a new machax and magnum camp, i'll be going through all the old posts and uhm, improving them.

i'm thinking that a first pass, i'll run them through a translator into German then Klingon then back to English, and nobody will know but us... what do you think of that kind of pixel cleaning?:D

I think that scares the holy living beans out of me.:D

I could see — after your "translations" — words that were never spoken in the real world, appearing on my monitor. I often have enough trouble with English, let alone a German/Klingon/English mishmash. Especially with some of the silly, immoderate stuff that comes out of my mouth.

im not messing around..."TWEE-NER, TWEE-NER, TWEE-NER, TWEE-NER, TWEE-NER!" i know what i want, and i want it NOW!!!!:D as a matter of fact, i have money set aside for 2, maybe 3, and i KNOW im not the only one. bringing back some designs is very sweet, but something about a new design makes my toes tingle. especially if its gonna be my first every-day-carry Becker.

Now, that's the spirit, Woody.

We want the tweeners, we want the tweeners, we want the tweeners...

thanks buddy, now if others would share our enthusiasm. TWEE-NER, TWEE-NER, TWEE-NER, TWEE-NER! i woke my wife up last night chanting that in my sleep:D (allright, that might be a little fib, but it is something i forsee in the future)...TWEE-NER, TWEE-NER, TWEE-NER! PA-LEEEEASE.....

It's not me that you have to convince, it's Ethan and Toooj. We just have to keep the pressure up until they cave in — which, of course, will be in their own sweet time (or when the products are actually ready, whichever comes first).

Toooj said that they have several prototypes that they're looking at. I wonder if it's not too late to let them know what we're hoping for, as far as blade size and type, handle type, etc. Just a thought.

3 1/2 to 4" blade with the thickness of my BK9. as for the grip, i hope it stays near the size of all the other models, as i like a solid hold on a working knife. i do like the hammering/striking pommel feature added on the new BK2s, and maybe the "jigged" feature for the thumb the BK2 lacks. im sorry for my lack of correct terminology, but ive been up all night and my brain feel like mush. LOL....im guessing you know what i mean

That's exactly the kind of info that I was thinking of, and it may be of use to Ethan and Toooj, too.

Before Toooj throws rocks at me, I do understand that they're well advanced in the design phase of the new tweeners. I understand that they already have sebenty-leven designs that they're considering (okay, okay, maybe only seven or eight designs, but I just like the sound of sebenty-leven), and this kind of feedback may help them make a choice... or not. Can't hurt, though, right?

'Tweeners' are cool, but I'm a little simpler in my tastes:

Magnum Camp. Ya'll can make whatever you want - just give me my Magnum Camp and everything will be just fine. My world is off-kilter, out of balance, teetering on the brink, and dull & boring right now. I need a Magnum Camp to make things right again. Besides, my BK7 is lonely.

I've coveted a BK5 since I first saw one, but I haven't been able to afford it before now.

thx - cpr

Well, we know the Magnum Camp is coming, and soon, too, by all accounts. You're not the only one who's waiting for that one to come out. A little patience, and a Magnum Camp can be yours (and mine, too) in short order.

What we're speculating on here are the other new ones we know are coming. We may know they're coming, we just don't know when, or just what they'll be.

Many of us have wanted something in between the BK-11 and the BK-2 for a long time now. You know, for those formal occasions where the BK-2 might be a bit much, but the BK-11 may not be quite enough. It's hard to imagine just what those occasions might be, since the BK-11 and the BK-2 fill so many roles, but we want them, nevertheless.

Tweeners all the way. I think the size of the blade on the necker is not far off. It's the handle size and scales that will be a nice addition. Maybe one with a more defined tip, and a continuous curve to the edge. I really like this blade shape. One of mine.

That's a nice looking knife, cody1.

I agree with you that the BK-11 blade is not far off, and a new handle would make it into something really special.

I also think that a scaled down BK-2 would be a great design.

I'm sure though, that Ethan and Toooj have things on the drawing board that will be just great. We already know that they're going to be great blades with redesigned handles, and I can't wait to get my hands on them.

TWEE-NER, TWEE-NER, TWEE-NER, TWEE-NER!!! yeah, i know, im like a broken record;)....would it help if i got picket signs and a megaphone? im sure my neighbors wont know what the heck im demanding, but im wanting this one NOW!

It's okay to sound like a broken record, and I can sympathize: I want them, too. Unfortunately, it's going to take awhile.:(

I'm not sure about the picket signs and a megaphone. I think the neighbors would be more than a little upset, and call the cops. I'm sure that the cops would understand though, once you told them you were chanting for new Beckers (who wouldn't understand that). Heck, they might even join in.:D
