Have any of you tacti-cool guys ever painted a synthetic stock? I'm wanting to turn a black stock into OD Green and looking at the Aluma-Hide II to do it -anyone else do this?

Just wondering how durable it would be?

Hell - worst case, if I screw it up, Sniper308 will get some new business :D

i had my 870(metal and synthetic) that i use for works done with duracoat by galtsguns. he even painted the bolt and it has seen thousands of rounds and no sign of chipping or scratching. he did a 5 color snakeskin camo pattern with a matte UV protectant clear coat on top for $200. it was worth it in my opinion. as far as the other paints and DIY im not sure.
