gone for a day and I get to come back to richstags BS. :jerkit: this isn't Burger King and you don't get it your way. bottom line it that its J's buisiness to run however he sees fit and it does no good to bitch and moan on here like a little girl. i'm not an old timer here, but I haven't seen you around until the last couple weeks when you showed up and started making all sorts of demands. just leave the man be. if you don't like his stuff, don't buy it. that'll show him.

I got him already O'Mally,, lol. I think he understands now, I tried tellin him before , and he didn't quite get it,, do you know how many years. Jerry Busse made knives when all you could get was black blade, black micarta,, and if you didn't want that, well you know the story.. I do this for fun, and money. takin orders aint fun and aint worth the money
 
Gravelface is my friend, he's been tryin that spec knife stuff on me for at least a year and a half, Look how many custom made Horton Knives he has, lol

I hate to whine about stuff, but what the hell is peoples obsession with mint knives. Folks looking for hard use blades and only want mint. Don't get me wrong...I have broken my share of "hard use" knives and EVERY one was brand new. How many folks have "wore" a blade out? All my users are still going strong.....................

Oh, by the way, Jeremy, I would like my SPDR with a mirror polish and a slightly more pronounced drop. I'm still debating about choil depth. :p
 
I now want to own a drama llama. All I can find online are alpaca dealers. :confused:

Rich, no disrespect, but I think the point was that you can't have your preferences with Horton Knives. He just makes what he likes and then sells them. That system may change one of these days if/when he goes full-time, but right now, you get what you can get. About the only options I've seen involved the spine (style of band-breaker or no band-breaker) and scale materials. You might have a choice on steels and thickness if Jeremy has different blanks in hand.
