Twist damascus integral

I can only imagine how good this one feels in hand...

Beautiful work Nick.

If I remember correctly you have a knife something like this in your collection Coop.

Yes. That would happily be me.

Some differences, though. Nick's been refining the design.

Nick, you're 'bangin' them out' these days. Just a slowdown with the prototype. ;)

Great thread.

^^^ Both look really good to me, but I think those are just two different blade shapes as opposed to a design progression. I know Nick has a blade shape similar to yours in the works right now, and I have an order with him for something similar, but rendered as a hidden tang double-guard fighter.

Thanks for looking and for taking the time to comment guys, I really appreciate it. :)

Roger sure has a sharp eye. While this knife is very closely related to Coop's, it does have a different blade shape. Coincidentally, I just happened to be working on this one, and a "copy" of Coop's at the same time. :) (photo snapped before bolsters had been final shaped).

Thanks guys! :)

I was going by memory......and it's not as sharp as it used to be.
Great looking knives, both of them.

Mark, I had to put them side-by-side to see, too. You're not alone in the comparison process. ;)

Nick, so glad to see this style become a standard for you. They really make me smile. :)

Roger: Double guard? Expecting to parry? LOL! (I know I'll like it too. Just a poke.)

Hope my reply didn't come off as "correcting" anyone, just trying to clear things up a bit. :)

Coop, that knife is hands down one of my most asked about pieces... probably THE most asked about. :)

Edited to add:

Hahaha. I've had several people ask me why I changed the music that WAS on the twist integral video.

I DID have the stereo playing Michael Buble doing a cover of Billy Paul's hit, "Me and Mrs. Jones." :D I personally LOVE that kind of music (contrary to the new idea floating around the I'm just a total country hill billy ;)), and even though I was simply listening to it in the shop, it did come through loud and clear on the video.

However, I received an email from youtube stating I was violating several usage laws by "using Billy Paul's song in your video" and that I had to change the music or remove the video. :grumpy:

So here 'ya go... LMAO :D
