Twistmaster Love

I certainly wish they'd reintroduce it, however I can't help but feel that is wishful thinking at best, I dunno if it'd fit in CS current lineup. SK-5 would be fine for me, I've come to appreciate my Hignokami Carpenter's knife in that particular blade steel, it's good stuff.

I'll have to give SK-5 a try. Only problem is it seems to be offered primarily in the higher priced models or at a reduced hardness. Hmmm. Have to ck around at the gun knife shows. I know my carbon 5 blades are really good, in the Twistmaster and in a couple of "trade" knives that, when the imprint still showed, were called "Red River Knives". They have been my go-to kitchen blades for many years, outlasting some pretty good stainless cutlery.
