My SOG twitch (II) decided Monday it no longer wanted to close. Will SOG take a look at/fix this or would I be better off trying to take it apart myself and fix it?

DO NOT TAKE IT APART!!!!! You will not be able to get it back together, right. Send it back to SOG and have them look at it. it sounds like a busted spring. It happened to mine and SOG replaced it under their warranty. I took my first one apart and destroyed it completely, that voids the warranty according to the papers that came with it. Just go to their website and get the warranty information.

Thanks for the info... I figured taking it apart was a bad idea. I was able to get a Kershaw Leek apart and back together but this one seemed to be slightly more complex so I wanted to ask before I just did it.
