Here are two knives in the same set of pictures.
The orange G10 handled knife is 1/8 1084 in a new one-off design. If I keep the design around, it'll be called the "Big Handle Bird and Trout." It is basically my standard utility handle, but with a thin bird and trout style blade. The knife is 7 1/8" long with a 3" blade. The tang is tapered. This knife is light and thin, only 3/8 thick at the widest point of the handle. The sheath is tooled basket weave, right handed. Price is $175.
Also in the picture is a slightly curvy version of my standard utility hunter. The knife is 1/8 1084, tapered tang, hand 400 grit finish. The handle is amboyna burl with mosaic pins, contoured and under 1/2" thin. OAL is 7 3/4 with a 3 1/8 blade. Basket weave right hand sheath. Ought to be a deer skinning machine, and pretty enough to impress the boys at deer camp. Price is $250.
Both are stock removal, heat treated in my digital controlled kiln, quenched in 10 second commercial quench oil. RC 60 on both.
