I saw a fellow hogs Ash 1 with satin and blue machined g10 handles and thought "how cool" then I was watching Gods and Generals, and had an idea.. Civil war commemorative Ash1s! Here ya go. they were a long time in coming but well worth the wait.. You Rock Garth!!!!
Here's what I started with

Beautiful! And just in time for the sesquicentennial. That was a great idea well executed.

Breaks my heart to see a couple of good users turned into safe queens. They did turn out really nice though. Great idea.

WOW! They came back looking great. I can't hardly wait, I have a MS and SAR5 that are getting a spa treatment.
Now that blade is over I hope they have time for me.

Those look great!
I would love to see a pic of your three hand-shaped Ashs together.

Very cool combo.
I know someone who can dispose of that Yankee ASH-1 for you since it looks so bruised and neglected. :p
