First up, a Hankins fighter/ utility w/ kydex sheath. I'm the second owner and I've never used it, it looks new. Very slight handling marks and a couple of very faint rust freckles on the handle. Very comfortable handle. Extremely sharp! 125.00-->110.00 Great deal on a combat ready blade. SOLD!
Next up, a med camp knife/ chopper from Takach Forge. This one has been used slightly, and has a small roll (not a chip!) in the blade where it was accidentally battoned into a rock while splitting wood (DUH!) I guess this shows that it was tempered properly if it didn't chip! The ding can easily be worked out with some elbow grease on a stone or a few passes on a belt sander, but I haven't bothered cause the knife is a bit bigger than I want; so it is priced accordingly as a slight "fixer-upper". The dark spots are the forge finish which was deliberately left on when the knife was made. It comes with a very nice leather sheath with is practically new since the knife has never been worn on a belt. The sheath alone is worth at least 40. Asking 110-->100-->95! Great Deal on a handforged knife by a fine maker for someone who knows how to resharpen. SPF!
