How long before you find one?

I found a few on the bay, but 1) they don't have the canoe etch 2) they are SS

I'm trying to limit my Case purchases to CV steel knives. I just like them better. I know it's silly, but the TruSharp ones just don't seem to have the "character" the CV's have. I have several Case TruSharp knives, and for the most part, I like them well enough..
I'm also trying to be more realistic about what I buy. I had a Boker canoe for a while, and just never found the urge to carry it.
What I might do is wait for a screaming good deal on a used CV canoe, and recover it in ebony, or even Texas ebony...

They still "look purty", though....

I like the CV blades a little better than the SS, but not enough to keep me from buying either.

Like my beloved Hoffritz Germany half congress, only in much better shape. I’ve looked for ages for another under the Hoffrotz brand with no luck at all, I had no idea Voss also sold them. The hunt is on again.

I have one of these in CV I'm "watching" right now. They are surprisingly affordable, and there's nothing ugly about it. Not really sure why I haven't punched the button yet.... just trying to figure out where it will fit into my carry rotation.

Thanks, John. I posted previously that I wouldn't be showing off all my canoes in this thread, but I guess I'll post a canoe every so often - like now, for example.
