Two blade opposite end knives

All I have are a Rough Rider large sunfish, Buck 389 canoe, Colt canoe with carbon steel blades, Case canoe, and I forget what else I have with two blades that open on each end.
Have a 4 bladed Imperial congress (Taylor made, not a vintage antique) Maybe I could modify it into two knives?

Here's a little variety on your idea.

The knives posting in this thread are proving to me at least the variety of patterns and materials. I'm going to show a Pilot's survival vest knife by Colonial. I believe it to be ok with the traditional thread. If not please accept my apology and delete it for me.
Thank you,

wazu013, I'm currently quite "smitten" by canoes and am "doing a survey". Are the splendid Case and S&M canoes you show in posts 24 & 25 single-spring or double-spring versions? The 4 canoes I currently have are all 2-spring, and I'd like to get a single-spring canoe at some point. Thanks!

The case knives are 2 spring. The S&M knives are actually what they call a Baby Sunfish pattern. They are single spring.

Thanks, wazu. I'm apparently so smitten with canoes that I see them where they don't exist!:o

That Tidioute micarta is an exceptional find. If I had one of those, it might just quell the knife-lust (for quite a while...):D

Thanks, Will

Thanks Will! I picked it up simply because I like micarta and I've been looking at these 53's. It was later when I couldn't find it on GEC's pattern page that I dug deeper and found out that it was a heck of find. I think this one is gonna be around for a while.

There have been a number of threads about the Pen type knife, single-spring two blades, including one started by myself. But time and p.bucket's depredations have withered them a bit, so I thought of reviving this one as there have been a number of exciting arrivals on the scene. Perhaps you'd like to show your examples too?
