Scavenged from the wreckage of a battlefield and re-purposed into a hunter gatherer's companion knife, for your consideration:

Seriously though...
These knives are made from 1/8 thick W2, clay coated, triple normalized, and tempered to an averaged RC hardness of 60. The handles are leather backed, hemp wrapped, contoured, epoxy sealed, smoothed, and finished of with a light coat of boiled linseed oil. I would like to thank Rick Marchand for helping me figure this out in an old post. Once this kind of handle is done properly it is EXTREMELY comfortable and warm in hand. The knives have full tapered tangs and have a light pleasant balance. Blade is flat ground with lightly convexed super sharp edge.

4 1/4 blade
8 1/2 overall

Asking price is $200 each. Payment details are at very bottom. Thanks for looking.

The first one has a black handle with green turk's head knot

Each knife is $200, this includes insured shipping to the continental United States. I can take paypal to j.mitchell.shaw@gmail.com or we can work out other arrangements.

Man I absolutely love both of them. Every new piece you do continues to attract me...now if only my cars would stop acting up I could maybe afford a piece.

Thanks for the encouragement. It really means a lot. Good luck with your whips.

Guys here is what these knives are capable of. This is the black handled knife. Low parasitic drag. Check this video of me cutting a free falling phone book page. I have learned edge geometry from the best (still trying to "master" it though.
