Here are two bushcraft/utility style knives... they have several features in common:
100% handmade by yours truly. Full tang, full-flat-ground O1 tool steel, HT'ed to 58Rc by Peters Heat Treating.
Tapered tangs and stainless steel corby bolts/lanyard tubes.
Crisp, square spines for scraping tinder or sparks.
Hand-made, hand-stitched, custom-fitted leather sheaths, made by my wife and I. We use 9-oz vegetable-tanned leather, seal the edges with tragacanth gum and wipe the whole thing down with two light coats of neatsfoot oil. This makes for a good-looking and durable sheath that can still breathe.
Fully warranted for as long as I'm able to work. These are knives, not screwdrivers or crowbars
Individual specs:
Small Bushcrafter:
4-3/16" blade, 1-1/16" at widest point
8-1/2" overall
.075" at the spine, .010" behind the edge - this is a serious slicer!
OD green G10 scales, black sheath
800-grit hand-rubbed finish
weight: 3.8 oz. (5.9 oz. w/sheath)
$145 includes all handling fees and insured Priority shipping in the US. International orders will probably cost a bit more for shipping.
Large Bushcrafter:
5-1/4" blade, 1-1/2" at the widest point
9-5/8" overall
.150" at the spine, .025" behind the edge - nice and sturdy, but still very keen
brown canvas micarta scales, brown sheath
600-grit hand-rubbed finish with mustard/vinegar patina
weight: 7.2 oz (11.5 w/sheath)
$175 includes all handling fees and insured Priority shipping in the US. International orders will probably cost a bit more for shipping.
PayPal is preferred - contact me for details. If you prefer to purchase with a check or money order, contact me for my address. I will hold the knife or knives for 7 business days to give you time to mail payment. Personal checks must clear before shipment.
Thanks for looking!
