Two by Rodrigo Sfreedo

Hello Guys! Thank you for the wonderful words about the knives, it is always ahead of my spectation. Thank you murray for sharing it here.
Good to see you here, Berardo.
Sheers!

Two wonderful integrals! That bowie really is an amazing piece. Congratulations, Murray!

Any commandment about coveting they neighbor's property just went out the window. I have been wanting to get a chute knife half my life and until I saw this one, Murray, I had never run across one I really wanted. That has gotta be the highest compliment I can make toward the chute, and Sfredd's work. And the Bowie, well, it's somewhere down around in the "just absolutely gorgeous" category.

Murray,
Both are about as stunning as they come and that bowie - I do not think I will ever get over it. Looking forward to seeing you in a few months!

Murray fantastic knives. he is really at the top of his game . And as usual so are you:D

Two outstanding pieces for sure. Though his integrals are mesmerizing, I miss not seeing Rodrigo's conventional frame handle bowies and fighters.

It doesn't get much better, twice ! !
Congrats on these two fantastic acquisitions, Murray.
Great work, Rodrigo.
Both spectacular but I like the Bowie best, the blade is a marvel.

Outstanding work. I'm especially liking the bowie. (just more my thing, I guess) I've long been a huge fan of the turkish pattern welds, and prefer it even over many of the complex mosaics that seem to have become in vogue.

Buddy, the Bowie feels great. The balance point is exactly at the join of the guard and the ricasso. quite amazing considering the blade length.

Would you mind sharing some thoughts on why you like the balance set up this way? Or perhaps Rodrigo could chime in again on the subject... What kind of cutting power does this knife have at the tip compared to others? How does it move?

Just dropped by Murray's place to check out this beauty and all I can say is it's everything you think it is plus a bag of chips. The damascus is STUNNING in person. Also very light and well balanced for a knife with that much metal in the guard and handle. Murray knows how to pick 'em and Rodrigo sure as heck knows how to make 'em.

Hi Possum

I'm not sure where others like a knife to balance but I tend to like it to balance between the handle and the blade which generally is about where this one does. Do I have a reason other that preference? Not really. You have to understand, I'm a collector not a user of knives. I have a small knife that is always on my side

If I were to take out a knife for general whacking and one that would do any job required of it, I'd probably select this one.

as it is simply powerful enough and large enough to serve and protect nicely.

Now I do also have a couple of other RS knives

and this one which is actually the sharpest of all the RS knives I have and has the most incredible pattern too.

However, it is unlikely that any of these knives other than the one I carry would ever see an act of cutting nor chopping so as collectibles they suit my fancy. I just love to look at them, sit around and hold them.

Just all part of my love for knives and knife activities.

All are great....
I can say that I had the honnor and pleasure to handle all four knives from Rodrigo...
They're just keep getting better and better!!!!
Congrats my friend!!!!!!!
Keep them coming!!!!

Hello Guys! Thank you again for the coments.
Possum, I made this bowie as a big figther, not as a camp bowie. That's why the balance point is close to the guard.

Sheers!
