The body styling is different on a 70 and I think that's the first year they offered the 454 engine. Could be wrong about the 454. Easiest way to tell is by looking at the grill. The 70 has a 1.5 - 2" wide horizontal piece across the middle that is painted to match the body. 69's grill is all chrome.

Thanks for the info bud!! I looked at a couple pictures but nothing really jumped out as being real different about the 2. I see what you mean about the strip though!!

As are probably lots of ours....mowed the lawn, vacuumed the pool (had to replace the pump this spring....used cheaper than rebuilding the old one which was COMPLETELY shot) did dishes....did squeeze in a bike ride this morning, tho....
Got pulled over yesterday by some small town hick on a power trip. First he came up to the car asking me if my name was....if i still lived on....and do you know why i pulled you over--all legitimate questions but it was the tone he was using that pissed me off. He was very condescending and treating me like i was awful criminal...(now mind you I'm 32 driving a minivan with my wife, 3 kids and a lap dog-not quite the profile for bank robbing murderer)....he tells me i was doing 50 (i was doing 45 when i passed him and he was facing the same way iwas so i doubt his chubby self was turned around enough in his seat to clock me at all)....he then tells me he also pulled me over for not having a license plate on the front of my vehicle (ohio requires one on front and back)....of course i cant find my most current insurance card,all i had was one that expired last month.....he tells me something like hes going to suspend my license for 90 days then when my wife asked him too request himself he changed his wording to it could be suspended for up to 90 days....he says he is going to look at my record and that will dtermine if i get a ticket....my record is clean....a speeding ticket 10 years ago and a few accidents That weren't my fault. He comes back and says hes decided hes gonna give me a break because of my record. Then i pull out and he precedes to follow me through town until I'm out of his jurisdiction (and on that note he actually pulled out and followed me through his town before pulling me over....if my speed was that big of a safety issue why not pull me over before reaching town where children were playing)....i have absolutely no issues with LEOs. In fact I chat them up and thank them for their service to our community everychance I get. This officer was rude, threatening and trying very hard to intimidate me. His local government building will be receiving a letter from me. I wont be spending any money in that town until he no longer is,employed there. Thanks. For letting me rant....I'll take a hug now.

I wasn't too mature, just fell asleep with the page open. I usually leave the laptop on if I'm home and around the house...made a fire last night and when I came in I crashed before I even had a chance to shower and take off my smoky clothes. But I am also a creepy old man....INSIDE my skull, I don't want everyone to know

I second this sentiment....or the regular kind. I'd be down with either.
....and on a side note to that, I have an aunt who raises and shows Sphinx cats - they're hairless - and she has a license plate that says "NAKEDCAT" (or something like that). Even though she's pushing 70, I'm sure she's aware of the double entendre.
