The box was destroyed in shipping, the Giedymin blade was inside another box inside that box.... someone even had to of removed a tied up and taped ribbon on the box to open it up and didnt put one side of the giedymin box back so it was rattling around inside the larger box.... I ship bigger, and heavier boxes all the time, even across the world, and NEVER had an issue like this to date!! But there was no real issues with the knife thankfully!!



Thanks JD!! I meant to ask over the phone, but was everything OK with the BK24 and the 52100 steel???

Yup everything was there, I thought the BK24 wasn't I'm there but I found it with my chuck of steel... Hopefully I can make a few choppers before beckerwest to mess around with...

Thanks. Hard to go wrong with pics of the beach at sunrise. Got a few more on my regular camera, those are a testament to decent cell pics. Samsung Galaxy 4 Mini - I'm always surprised by the quality of that phone's camera. You just don't get the focal range or control, but the CCD is really good.

So I been looking for a new cheese shop. Something with a better/larger/more exotic selection of cheeses. It's hard to do in St. Louis as most people are good here with their gubment cheese. I found a place today that doesn't have the exact selection I was looking for however they had a good selection. There is another place I'm gonna check out probably tomorrow called the Wine and Cheese shop. The reviews aren't AS good as this place today however the place today was more like a corner market (The Smokehouse Market). They had a GOOD selection of wines including a 2011-2013 Rombauer chardonnay.
 
I've been having issues with the site too. When I type in a quick reply a prompt will pop up asking if I want to leave the page. If I hit yes it takes me to the advanced screen where my post will be in the dialog box waiting to be edited or posted however the reply will have already been posted as well.

So if a box come up that asks if you want to leave this page after you post a quick reply, hit yes but don't hit post or anything. Just come back to the thread and the post will be there.

Yup... same exact thing has been happening with me as well!!
 
Ya, it keeps asking to leave page or jumps to advance edit, if I hit enter again then it turns to a double post.
 
Yeah, I've developed all a couple ways to deal with the double posting problem, just effed up this one time....but it's still broken; I shouldn't have to have workarounds to prevent double posts.

So I just got a Google Chromecast. It was a PITA to set up because my router's settings weren't right or some such. It's supposed to be pretty straightforward but it took me a couple hours since I had to google the most basic things. Anyway now it's working and with the extension on my browser I can put anything I'm looking at right on my TV. I might cancel my netflix now...

Dont you still have to have netflix, hulu, or something to use it??

I thought they just let you access your accounts on your TV??

I looked into them but my blu-ray player also accesses netflix, hulu, you-tube etc. etc. So it would of been kind of pointless if they work the way im thinking....

I run an HDMI cable from my computer to the TV if/when i want to play something on that TV from other free sites.

You do need some kind of account depending on what you want to watch because it works with apps just like your phone/tablet only it lets you "throw" the video to the big screen from the app.
 
Pulled this lil badboy out of my buddies shop today. Finally done with it. It was a sleeper truck, took it off. Handmade the the back of the cab, and deck plate. The front and rear fenders and cowl panels are made in house with handmade fiberglass molds. Glad to have it done, of coarse it started to rain 5 minutes after I pulled it out of the shop. Could of planned that better.
