I have drank coffee a few times here and there but never cared for it. I like my drinks ice cold. Now some of the iced coffee stuff ain't too bad.... Still prefer an ice cold Pepsi though.

Nope, it will make it. :D
what'd ya get? go full KMG?

Well... Damn! I guess I'm on 12 cups so far today... I thought I was at 9.

What kind did you get?

No, KMG kinda pissed me off. They claimed there units come with the 10in. Wheel, and they wouldn't substitute a 8. I already have a 10 on the grinder I got now so I wanted the 8. They were happy to include one in the order for a additional amount of money. So, I took my business elsewhere. Ended up having one made to my specs from Brett Mathews out of Oregon. His grinders are getting awesome reviews. Supposedly his are the best tracking and quietest on the market. Plus he uses the same motors and controllers as the big boys do so same manufactures warranties. On top of that, his stuff is compatible tooling wise as the big boys........ I just about went with the Weurtz T-w90. But for everything I wanted. 4 grand. Little more than I wanted to spend. Brett is making mine to my specs at a little over half of that, so im pleased. I couldnt get the same KMG within 8-900 bucks of that.

Gee, thanks!! ;)

No problem ;) as a fellow Canadian, I look forward to not seeing any snow in our area for at least two more months... (knocking on wood). If I have to shovel or snow blow before December I'll kick ol'man winter's a**.

Time to get drunk in the inlaw's hammock! Ya vacation. I may even sneak in a bit of a nap! Weeee!

It always amazes me all the different people, personalities, walks of like and so on that I meet and get to talk to on a regular basis being a knife maker. Today a gentleman called me and ordered a M-18. We exchanged friendly chat for a while and I learned that he had been in the military for years. Evidently, the last 10 years or so of his career he worked in the Pentagon. He retired September 9th 2001. Two days before the terrorists attacks that set a airliner directly through where his office was. Needless to say, his outlook on life was changed. Just thought it was interesting.

Hey guys! I have a question for our resident steel geniuses: How does 1095VC compare to 52100? Is the edge retention on 52100 noticeably better than 1095? How 'bout O1? How does it compare to 52100? I'm quite happy with the edge retention of the O1 on my Yuma, but I can't really compare it to my 1095 knives because of the geometry. I would think that O1 is a better comparison to 52100 than 1095.

It'd be cool if I would get your thoughts, Woody, on your 52100 chappas and your Beckers.

Thanks guys!

That's a nifty little set up. Congratulations, Dubz!

Man, I thought my backpack would be an easy sell, for what I'm asking for it. Guess I was wrong. Not even a nibble. I guess most peeps do over nighters, or perhaps a few nights, where this pack was meant for longer trips. Hell, I may keep it. I'm trying to fund a wood stove for the cabin.

I was really tempted to buy it dubz, I need a knew pack for philmont next year, but being an unemployed high school kid makes it hard to buy gear :(
