Two current model SOGs

Ken, is that pic of your sk5 tech? Looks like you polished it up nice. Looks good!

I know the specs on the Tech Bowie, never seen one in person though.

I wonder how it feels with the 6.4 inch blade. I've always thought the seal pup was a bit too short, and the tech I too short and the tech II maybe too long. I'm getting into knife making and I think I'm going to try a 5.25" and a 6.75" SOG pattern.

Thanks! Yes that's my SK5 Tech that I cleaned up.

I have the Seki made SOG S1 and S2(trident) bowie as well as the Hattori TV3 so I'm familar with that blade length.
It's a comfortable size.

The Seal Pup is a short size and I like it because of that. Living fairly close to a metroplitan area
I don't wear a fixed blade too often these days, but when I do, like on canoeing or fishing trips, the Seal Pup size seems
the lightest and most unobtrusive. The Tech/Tech II and Seal2000 with their 7-7.35" blades are too big for me to actually
"use" outside of my backyard. 5.235" and 6.75" would be an interesting blade length.

Wow! Your blades look amazing! You certainly clean them up nice and take good care of them. Always wanted a trident although that tv3 is maybe going to take it's spot in the list.

Thanks very much. SOG S1s are fairly easy to find, S2 Tridents pop up once every few months.
But TV series are nearly impossible to find.
Here's one if you appreciate the design. A custom order only model H-7 made with VG10 and 97 layer
damascus. This is a stock photo from their website andI do not own one. Because it costs around $1500. LOL
Decades ago Special Limited Edition damascus SOG S1s, Recon Bowies Scuba Demo were made that sold out
quickly and we hardly ever see come available for sale.

Amazing looking knife. But yes, $1500 is a lot of ching-a-ling.

A scuba demo has been near the top of my list for a long time whether Damascus or not. Now that I'm getting into making though, it seems silly to buy. Lol.

Good point. Time and resources are limited so you have to put it where the priorities lie.
