Hi all,
I have two absolutely beautiful custom folders that I have to let go. Due to unforseen circumstances, I am selling them both.
Knife # 1
This is a friction folder made by Dirk AKA Oupa. It's beautiful. I will let Dirk's description speak for itself:
"I rate this as one of the nicest knives I have ever built.
The blade is a really fine blade by Mike Wilson who is well known for his friction folders - looks good, takes and holds a keen edge.
The handle is mammoth tooth over blue spacers with antique copper bolsters.
The liners are brass.
The pivot is adjustable and bronze washers make for smooth opening.
Pins in the mammoth have been hidden.
The knife is 3 5/8" in length when closed (excluding the opening lever).
The blade 2 3/4" bolster to tip.
A modified and stippled pocket-clip (removable),courtesy of William Henry.
I chose it as it is slim and allows setting of the pivot screw without having to remove it.
Also, a lanyard loop that has been tightened so that it also functions as a "safety" for the blade when carried using the pocket-clip.
Due to the cost of the materials used, the price is higher than for my usual friction folders.
SOLD
Dirk"
I took the clip off because I liked it better without, but will include if you desire to reattach. It's a wonderful folder that's both practical and beautiful. Dirk never does half-baked work. This is not exception.

Knife # 2
This is a new design from Ray Kirk, oklahoma knifemaker. It's a beautiful knife.
Here are some specs:
Blade: Ray's forged damascus with maker's mark of Raker MS. 2 1/4" with half stops
Handle: Mammoth Ivory
OAL: 5 5/8"
The scales on this beauty are secured with torx for ease of cleaning and removal. The blade is scagel style, like Ray's other folders, and the snap is good and clean. Easy to open but also stout enough to hold up to good use. It has been sharpened once on a Norton 1000/8000 waterstone. Included is a leather slipcase Ray made himself.
SPF shipped conus with insurance and delivery confirmation
If you are interested in both knives, I will offer a package deal of SOLDshipped conus with insurance and delivery confirmation. I'll accept paypal or MO. NO fee for paypal. Will ship to canada, as well as lower 48.
Thanks for looking and feel free to ask questions or request more pics. You can PM or email me at bdws1975@gmail.com with questions.
Thanks,
Brett
