The first is a Fossil Oosik Damascus Damascus Dagger - Custom Graves #33. - $OLD
Fluted handle, Twist damascus 11" OAL
This is Fossil penile bone from walrus (Oosik) handle that is 3/4 dia. Dan Graves said he had used a lot of fossil Oosik and had never seen one this color. Really dark. The Damascus is 1095, 15n20 and nickel with 252 layers in a lacy twist. The billet was hammer welded on the anvil, then blade was forged on the anvil. The handle is hand shaped (turned round) and ferrule and butt cap (also file worked) are turned. The guard (file worked to shape) and fittings are polished Brass. Blade length is 6 3/4 inches and overall length is 11 inches. This is a fine dagger. Dagger is marked with DG stamp.

Second is a Mammoth Ivory Damascus Dagger - Custom Graves #4 - $OLD
This is a mammoth ivory handle that is 3/8 wide and is interior cut. The damascus is 1095 and nickel with 88 layers in a pattern that really jumps out at you I call bold pools. The mammoth ivory is from Siberia with visable grain. The handle is hand shaped (turned round) and ferrule and buttcap are turned. The guard and fittings are polished nickel silver. Blade length is 4 3/8 inches and overall length is 7 1/4 inches. Dagger is marked with DG stamp.
