Very, very interesting post!

Thanks

Really cool thread. Reminds me of when I was a kid we went to this river gully and found a bunch of large fossilized snail and I still have a few. Those shark teeth are badass

Thanks Eero, much appreciated. It's really fun being outside and doing stuff you like. The fossils are a remembrance of those good days outdoors.

wow what a kool & educational post

Much appreciated, thank you.

Cool pictures! very interesting and informative! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks to you too, TBL.

Huh, the more you know aye. Thanks for taking us on a field trip and science lesson :) Those shark teeth are awesome! Do you sell them at all?

Thanks Dan. I don't sell 'em, they're merely for study purposes. I do have others that are a tad younger (approx. 15 million years old) with cosmetical flaws, suchs as no roots etc. that I can miss. I've already sent out a few to other Beckerheads here. I don't charge anything for them.

Haha, something like that yeah, thanks. The shark teeth I posted are from the Turonian. The pine cone is Barremian to Aptian in age. All three stages are part of the Cretaceous era. Think T-rex times, but just slightly older 'cause Rex was Late Cretaceous and these stages are middle to Early Cretaceous.
