I haven't posted a folder in a while, so here are two. The first is a large folder with a 4'' blade and mammoth ivory, the other as a 3-3/4'' blade and black lip pearl. Thanks for looking and let me know what ya'll think.

Wow Don......
I'm a fixed blade guy, but they are amazing enough to turn me into a folder guy. The ivory and damascus on the first one is out of this world. The blade on the second is outstanding.

They're OK, I guess.

(Geez, Don, the blade on that dagger is phenomenal! )

Those pieces just plain tax the immagination......

Great work !

I'll tell ya what I think Don....I think I figured out what I want for that next folder we talked about for a little later on:thumbup:  :D

Awesome work as usual.

The first one has faces at the 'carnival funhouse' camouflaged through it. Intense work.

That dagger ? Outasight!

These could have used a little Coop magic but didn't have the time.

Thanks for the comments guys, they are much appreciated.

Painfully exquisite, Donbo!

I think the by-laws of BladeForums say there can't be a Danbo AND a Donbo on the same thread?? Maybe they will make an exception in this case?

Two awesome folders, Donbo! The damascus is out-of-this-world on the big folder, and the blade on the dagger is just stunning.

Both knives are beautiful.

I know that you take great pride in your fixed blades, Don, and rightfully so.

However, I consider those wild hamon daggers your trademark knife.

Donbo  :D ,
What,I don't see a Bowie.

Don your mosaic is insane, insanely beautiful!
And the hamon on that dagger had me coming back several times just for my hamon fix.
What is the blade steel on the dagger?

A pair of drop dead gorgeous folders, you never cease to amaze.
Where is your mammoth graveyard located?

Doug

Maybe there is a mammoth graveyard somewhere on Don's property.
He must have an oyster bed there too, as he always
finds exquisite handle materials for his knives.
