Sharp-eyes is missing the blade - but it will soon be done and the match will be perfect.

Comments always welcome!

Nicely done! Are those a different color than normal-the top pic looks more brown, but I really like the color variations:D

Sharpeye is getting a Bushy as well? I thought he had a Woodsman coming.

Anyway, great work bro! I love the coloring. Nice edges as well!

Are those dropper loops removable?

I hope he is getting a Bushy - if not - I need to get his knife - and I will have to have Andy send me his knife. No big deal.

Talfuchre- Each sheath you make you improve and I see from these two that you take suggestions to heart. I like the new placement of the belt loop, it think it'll work better. You're stitching started good but I keep seeing it improve and you're dooing a good job burnishing.

I don't know exactly what your process is for burnishing the edges but I have a couple of tips that I hope you won't mind.

Always go in the same direction when burnishing the edges. I like to hold a peice of leather with the edge up then run my burnisher from me out ( think of whittling the edge with whatever you're using and you'll understand the motion)

If you get an old bone to burnish with it'll get the edges just a little slicker. Also run a moist sponge along the edge before you start.

I'm not saying your sheaths don't look professional. They'd fit in any group of sheaths, I just know you are constantly trying to improve them.

Really nice work. I like the coloring, and like the lack of decoration a lot. When those sheaths get a couple of years of wear on them they will look even better.

David,

I appreciate it. I am using a burnishing bit chucked up in my drill press - but I have to use a bone folder for some of the hand stuff. I will keep that in mind. I am going bi-directional. I will go unidirectional when hand burnishing and automatic burnishing and see how it goes.

I always appreciate tips.

Beautiful work Tf, nicely done. Love the color and the stitching looks awesome.

Great looking sheaths. For some reason the stitching sticks out more in these ones to me. Maybe it is just me.

Good call Tony.
Do you keep track of all of the orders on all of the threads or just all of mine?:D:D:D:D
