These have both been sharpened and carried with a natural patina developing. The first one is a Tidioute #56 dogleg jack with frontier bone scales. I have the tube for it. The second one is a GEC made Schrade Fire and Ice trapper with jigged brown bone scales. The trapper has what looks to be blade rub in the picture but it is just a shadow or glare or something. Best I can do with my little cell phone camera.
They are both in very good used never abused condition with excellent fit and finish. They have strong back springs but are not what I consider to be nail breakers. They are great knives and I will miss them if they get traded but my taste and needs have changed some lately.
What I am wanting to do is trade the pair for a nice modern folder. A Spyderco Para Military would be my first choice but I am open to offers. A Military or Police are also folders I have long wished for. Not sure if this is a realistic wish but thought I would post them here and see if there was interest.
