16 inch 24 ounce Dui chirra by Thamar. Satisal wood handle. $135.

14 1/4'' 15 ounce Hasiya by Yuvraj. Five minutes rust removal time on blade and small hairline crack on satisal wood handle. Smile at $59. *SOLD*

17 inch 29 ounce Ang Khola by Dhan. Slight shrinkage of dhar wood handle. Best buy at $85. *SOLD*

Earthquake survived Knives shipment had arrived here today and I am super busy unpacking the knives and clean inspect etc..

I know, it's like a blessing. I can't afford it either, but if it was wood, I would've made a run to the blood bank, sold a kidney, or something, but I would've been all over it.

That Tin Chirra blows my dress up too. Tin is 3 fullers right. Yek, Dui, and Tin?

EMS on the Suga and letter opener. I've been eyeing the letter openers but have wanted to combine it with another purchase since it adds barely anything to shipping weight. I've been looking for a Suga with the crows beak too, which recent ones haven't seemed to have. Hopefully its destiny!
 
Oh wow, I love how the karda and chakmak on the Tin Chirra are a totally different color than the handle of the khuk. That really pops. And the cho looks like the same design as on my Dui Chirra! Yangdu, if you're reading this, please pass the message to Thamar to keep doing this style of cho, it's just too cool.

Congrats to anyone who scores anything from today, they are all wonderful. Tin Chirra and Yek Chirra are on my short list, and who doesn't need another KLVUK?? Nice grab PappaCutter!

Please post pics of the Dui Chirra and Tin Chirra when they find happy homes :)

Wow! I have a few knives by Thamar, and they are outstanding! Purna remains my current fav Kami tho.... C'mon DD!!!!

Glad you grabbed that Thamar Tin Chirra, Bawanna - if you hadn't, I was going to. I have a Thamar "Dui Chirra" that looks more like a Tin Chirra to me, but it would be nice to have an "official" Tin Chirra, and I love the handle on that one!

I don't have a done deal yet either. I have a Dui and a Yek, wanted the full set. I'll have to scrounge for loot but I'll get it done for this one. Iffen it wants to live with me that is.
