Two Good and Ten Blems for 8/18

That Tin Chirra had me lusting too. My question, what is the intense attraction of that Kuk? I know those and the FF are favored by you senior guys, why do they turn your crank? I almost pulled the trigger but I need some light weight Kuks. My small inventory has a heavier variety.

Heartache and happiness for bawanna. The Tin Chirra was long gone, sob, sob, but but but Aunties says she thinks she has another one so I'm still a winner winner chicken dinner............

I don't know who won this one but it looks really nice.
 
I think that's the Cherokee rose from the last set of blems. I sent the email but didn't hear back and now it's up again?!

It could be but most likely isn't. Some folks email servers don't get through to auntie sometimes, seems to be certain carriers.
Send an email on this one and if you don't get a response let us know and I or one of the others will email in your behalf.
 
I sent auntie an email just now to see if your emails are getting through. I'll keep ya posted.
 
Auntie said she just now received the email from RuaridhHunter. AOL causes her some grief and some others did not get through as well. But it got through now and she says all is well.

What the HEY!!! I totally missed this whole DOTD? Ive been late to the party before but never the next day! That Tin Chirra! ARRRRGH!! on the list! Blem FF:eek:...grrrrrr! Im gonna go crawl under the couch now... oh im at work. To the broom closet.
 
I receieved a stunning Tin Chirra yesterday in the mail. This one was long gone but Auntie sent me another one. It's love at first sight. Perfect triangle box, the mail carriers were very gentle with it.

Thamar did a really fine job on this one. I was so busy taking it all in that I didn't take any pictures last night but I will and I'll post some. Anybody settin on the log contemplating getting one, I'd without pause say go for it.

I am buying for now traditional items, had an Ang Khola, have now a WWII, Tarwar sword, and Villager, the next will be a multi-fullered as they also date back at least to turn of century 1700-1800
The attraction?.....historic....authentic.....unusual appearing and fullers give a larger front to blade without the weight.....in our culture we grind them in.....if Kamis hammer them in, they are spreading the metal as if kneeding dough which does not waste the metal that grinding wastes....
