Two good, repaired and blems for Saturday Evening

My Hasiya is criminally underused. Hopefully once my garden starts to come in I can put it to work a bit. I got a Baby one for my mom a while back too. Doesn't get used hardly at all, but she does love the knife!
 
Got the DD for the hasiya! Problem is that this one doesn't look anything like my other HI blades. My wife is going to spot this as a "new acquisition" on sight!
 
Just tell her you've had it all along and it got slammed in the car door and bent a little bit.

Maybe she'll buy that.................not likely but has to be better than the truth. Survival ya know. Whatever it takes.

I'd probably try to double up on this one and tell her it didn't straighten too good despite your best efforts, so you need a new one to replace it.

Just in case you have to defend her honor or something chivalrous ya know? They buy that chivalrous stuff near every time.

Did fail me once upon a time when I was trying to get a 416 Rigby. Didn't get off the runway on that one but I got an A for effort and still didn't have to sleep in the shed.
 
Yeah, you could say something like "It has beautiful curves babe, reminds me of you"! Good for forgiveness or slap, a gamble of sorts.
