Two great Serrated Possibilities

There are 2 Spyderco knives that I wish that they would take serious consideration to what I suggest. I wish that they would take the Chinook III and the C-111 Captain models and make serrated versions of both knives. I am a serious fan of both knives but I would personally prefer both of them in the serrated variation.

I Know I'm not alone with those desires  because I remember even seeing the designer of the Captain even say that he even designed that model for the curved part of the blade to have serrations ;) But as great of a knife as the C-60 Massad Ayoob is in the serrated variation I can only imagine how great the Chinook III would be. It also has a convex blade geometry and I know that it would be a really special blade in fully serrated.

OK, OK I know that there are a lot of you who don't like serrated blades. But there are those of us who do and there is enough market out there to cover both of us. I want some input on all of this. Also if there are others I haven't thought of let me know which ones they are. JD

Hey JD,
Right there with you on the Captain!:) The Chinook is another story though, I've never taken a liking to it so far, but if it had some teeth:thumbup: .....maybe a closer look would be warranted.;) Hell you know me SE today, SE tomorrow, SE forever!!!!:D
Cheers,
Rob

I have 2 to add to that serrated wish list. I also wish that they would offer brother "DIALEX's" Adventura and the Spyker models in Serrated too.

I have yet to try out a recurve blade in serrated.

It just seems to only make sense to me for Spyderco to offer all their blades in the serrated variety even if you have to send it back to the factory to have it done to the blade for a fee.

WHY NOT?

It's nice to have a few fully-serrated knives in the collection. Even nicer when you can get your favorite models that way.

Only the thought of it makes me drool all over my key board::eek:

A fully serrated Captain and Chinook:thumbup:

And a fully serrated Aventura would be great as well.

I remember reading a post of Dialex, the designer himself, saying that he would like a full SE version of the Aventura as well;)
