Shaking up things a bit in the new year with two new watches coming in, so two watches in my small collection (five, max) have to go. So, let's get to it!

Seiko SSC819 Solar Chronograph

This Seiko SSC819 Solar Chronograph is another killer release from Seiko in 2021. The inspiration for this watch is the Seiko Speedtimer chronographs from late 60s to mid 70s. Great vintage vibe and yes, there's definitely an Omega Moonwatch thing going on here, but it's not a cheezy 'homage', as Seiko has their own long and distinguished history to pull from.

Rather than ramble on about how cool this watch is and listing specs and such, I’ll direct y’all to this nice write-up, which covers just about everything: https://wornandwound.com/review/the-seiko-ssc819-is-the-sleeper-chronograph-of-the-year/

I bought this watch from Carat & Co, an excellent NYC-based AD, and it arrived on New Year’s Eve. As expected with a watch I’ve had for a little over a week with very limited time on wrist, it’s in pretty much like-new condition, with one exception. While swapping out the OEM bracelet to put on a NATO, I struggled with a recalcitrant spring bar and managed to scratch the back of the top left lug a bit (see case back photo). Of course, this isn’t visible when wearing the watch. Other than that, everything else looks mint to me.

I’m asking $600 (firm), with payment by PayPal G&S, shipped USPS Priority or UPS with tracking. Note #1 - I'm pretty sure you're not going to find this new release for less than $675, so for what is pretty much a brand new watch, I think my price is on point. Note #2 -The NATO straps in photo album are not included....just there to show how good the watch looks with different strap options.

Christopher Ward Sealander

I am the second owner of this outstanding go-anywhere-do-anything, white-dial Christopher Ward Sealander, which I bought from a trusted seller on reddit watchexchange four months ago. Last month, I ordered the terrific Christopher Ward stainless steel bracelet made for this watch, as well as the Christopher Ward #tide recycled ocean material strap. The CW bracelet is about as good as stainless steel watch bracelets get…..supremely comfortable, great looking, and the tool-less micro-adjust is a game changer. In addition, I’m offering for sale an Erika’s Original Corsa MN strap, which I bought especially for the Sealander.

Similar to Seiko solar chronograph, I'm not going to rave about how terrific this watch is and go into the specs. Maybe I'm just lazy, but here's another great write-up that does the heavy lifting for me: https://thewatchprofiler.com/review/christopher-ward-c63-sealander-automatic-review/
This Sealander is in very good to excellent condition, with a few shallow scuffs here & there and a few shallow nicks along the very sharp-angled bezel edge. The almost-new bracelet is in excellent condition with only a couple of light scuffs: on the CW logo and vertical bevel of clasp (see photos). I sized the bracelet my 7.25” wrist, and extra links are included. The Erika’s Original strap is also excellent and looks new to me. The CW #tide strap is brand new and unworn, only put on the watch for photos.

I’m asking $765 (firm), which I think is an outstanding deal for everything offered here: CW Sealander watch (with warranty card and very nice presentation box) + CW Sealander bracelet ($818 retail), CW #tide strap ($75 retail), and Erika’s Original Corsa strap ($90 retail). Payment by PayPal G&S, shipped USPS Priority or UPS with tracking.

Thanks, but I'm not looking for trades at this time.
