Hey I guys! Up for grabs I have two hammer pole, Valkyries. I am really liking the look and feel of these in this "spikeless" version. Also the more compact head, means it fits nicely in a pack. The long cutting edge makes it perfect for bushcraft and different chopping tasks. It also allows you to choke up behind the head for smaller tasks.
Both of them are built from 1/4" 4140 that I differentially tempered for extra toughness. The cutting edge and hammer pole are 54rc and the tang is 47rc.
On the canvas micarta one, I milled fullers in the handle scales on both sides. This adds nice gripping points in the handle as well as looking cool. : )
