Gentlemen:

Well, my heat treat oven has a burned out element and I busted my last bit for my Clausing 8530 so I thought I'd get out the Atlas Mini Forge and make a couple guardless knives until the parts come in. You guys waiting for me to fill your orders, I haven't forgotten you! For your consideration are these two hard use knives for your camp chores. The upper clip is not sharpened on each knife - you should indicate to me if you want it sharpened before I ship. The spalted maple model is built for the fella that has a large hand and it comes with a right hand 45 degree cross-draw sheath. The English Walnut version is thinner stock and a bit shorter for the user that prefers a knife lighter in the hand. The first "I'll take it" gets it. $260 each plus $15 shipment. Paypal payment is preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com and I'll accept USPS money orders. Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.

Best regards,

TK

Ben: The walnut one is yours - I'll sharpen the clip before I ship. Thanks!

What a couple of Sharp looking knives !
TK, this "Atlas Mini Forge" has helped you turn out 2 of the best ever i think. Are they forged ? And how did you heat treat with yours on the fritz ? These challenges have been good for you, just look at what you made !

Hey Roland:

As most of my knives, these are stock removal.....the forge allowed me to take the knives to 1450 prior to Parks 50 quench. My wife's oven afforded me the opportunity to temper them!!

Great looking knives T.K., I think with your talent you could make a great knife if all you had to work with was a rock and a stick.

Hey fellas - thanks for the words of encouragement! :)

I really liked the spalted maple one better but the length is too much for my intended purpose. I have to agree it's an exceptionally attractive knife.
